Worship is not an event but a lifestyle for devoted lovers of God.
Greetings my beloved family. Today is our Worship Wednesday! We share our playlists and dedicate a full day to our Lord which is something many people rarely do. In the midst of our worship we tend to shift focus to the devil , to thoughts , to ungodly feelings. Many people canât give full attention to God, during worship they start warfare âI bind and castâ and they stay on that the entire worship session, all they said to God was âOur Father who art in heavenâ .. Family there is a time for everything.
If we knew what happens to us during worship we would worship more. Worship broke the oppression of depression in my life. It was during worship that l was delivered. Today I encourage you, praise and worship Him. I have linked a couple of songs for you to Dance like David and Worship like Mary! One area of struggle for many believers is the mind. The mind is a seed to our actions and as we know, every seed produces after its kind. Thereâs no guava seed that produces apples unless itâs either a miracle or demonic . A mango seed produces mangoes. Thereâs no way my parents could produce a white daughter because theyâre both black! Iâm their product. Likewise ,your actions are the fruit of your mind. A copy and paste. If your mind is filled with thoughts of revenge you will feel angry, if your mind is filled with pornography , the fruit of that is masturbation, fornication and even demonic dreams of molestation. There should be no unintentional thought, no careless thought. Careless thinking is the reason why many have committed suicide. Thoughts on the loose are the devilâs playground.
Your mind must be renewed by the Word of God. Thereâs no transformation for a person who rejects the Word. The difference between you and the next âdeepâ person is the mind. You cannot become like someone whose mindset you donât have and thatâs why many canât handle the mantles they pray for. You canât become like Christ if you donât have the mind of Christ. You canât become like your spiritual father if you donât think like he does because you only become what you think. Youâre a product of your thoughts.Â
The mind of Christ is the Word of God. I donât understand a believer who does not have a Bible. How do you expect to be transformed, where is the map? Who and what is directing you? Itâs not in cramming scripture, itâs in living scripture. It is foolish to think youâll pass History if you donât read History books, because the equipping of your mind depends on what it is fed.
Do you know whatâs responsible for those actions of yours? The mind. Either careless thinking or unguided thinking which is thinking outside the Word of God. Yes, even thoughts of low self esteem! It is careless thinking or unguided thinking. Yes even depression ! Letâs touch on different kinds of thoughts this week. Our God whose desire is for us to be like Christ, will surely see us through to the point where we can say, âMy mind is yielded to Christ!â . Youâre loved by God and myself! â€ïž
Life is not a matter of self evaluation through worldly standards but through the word of God. The Christian mirror is nothing else but the Bible. When we do self introspection through the lenses of scripture we are most likely to find the mistakes quickly and discover the ways to fix them , vice versa. The world does not dictate how we should live for if it does, we have no part in this kingdom, we are disobedient, rebellious, wayward ! As you look back this week, what areas of your life were not completely surrendered to God? Your thoughts? Time?  Speech? Wardrobe? Uncontrolled appetites?
This week Holy Spirit kept on reminding me to watch my thoughts why? Because in my creative mind, I find myself trying to create stories but theyâd always end up being a âscary movieâ. Im used to writing fictional novels for adults so the transition from that to trying to create something for children is just mad crazy! I was hearing âNo, pull that thought down letâs try another way to create a storyâ as I reflect , Iâm reminded of Philippians 4;8âFinally, brothers and sisters, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirableâif anything is excellent or praiseworthyâthink about such things.â ââPhilippians⏠â4âŹ:â8⏠âNIVâŹâŹ https://bible.com/bible/111/php.4.8.NIV
The real surrender happens on the inside [the inner man] and affects whatâs on the outside which is now our actions.Take a closer look in the mirror, what does the Word say about how you acted throughout the week? If youâre truly willing to change, Holy Spirit will help you . Remember when you see a problem, work on it through scripture not through ânormalisingâ what heaven rejects, thatâs how we learn to yield. A man who doesnât reflect and introspect is a man of many mistakes which couldâve been avoided.

My beloved family, l just want to thank you for showing up here every weekday! It means a lot to me. Thank you a million times , youâre truly a treasure. Today l want us to watch a movie together. Iâve watched it many times and it has taught me a lot about life as a Christian. Take sometime and watch it. I know, l know itâs animation and some of us have outgrown that but we can never be ignorant to teachings because we have outgrown the channel or means used to teach.
