Congratulations, my sister. Congratulations, my brother. Congratulations, friend. Congratulations to you all! You’ve made it into the 10th month of the year , what a journey it has been!

We gave birth in September, so this is our first month walking as people with evidence. You laboured, you pushed, you travailed and now look at you, holding your baby, the proof of your perseverance. You might be saying, “But I don’t see anything yet!” Hold on. Don’t lose hope. The sky may seem still, but the cloud is gathering. And when it’s full, it will pour. Just wait , the rain is coming.

Congratulations! Congratulations on your new, well-paying job! Congratulations on your new car! Oh, is that you in your beautiful home? You look stunning in that bridal gown , from Pinterest to reality! And you, Mr. Groom, that suit is perfect! Look at you holding your twins , double the blessing! Wow… so you’re a millionaire now? You’re funding kingdom business, advancing the gospel! You’re in every nation, declaring Jesus Christ. Souls are being saved because of your obedience! Haaa again I say, Congratulations! You are walking in prophecy. You are living in the overflow. You are evidence of God’s faithfulness.

When a woman gives birth, her family, friends, colleagues even strangers on social media celebrate with her. People send gifts, money, cards, and flowers. You’ve read the Bible , remember the gifts the Wise Men brought to Jesus? Because every birth should be celebrated. Why? Because travailing is not easy. Because both the mother and the child could die in the process. Because crossing from labor to life is a miracle. So today, I pray for you: May good people surround you and celebrate you genuinely.

So what are we doing today? We are praising! I hope you have a proper play list to celebrate how far you’ve come. It’s time to celebrate!!💃 SING, DANCE, PRAISE!

“Sing, O childless woman, you who have never given birth! Break into loud and joyful song, O Jerusalem, you who have never been in labor. For the desolate woman now has more children than the woman who lives with her husband,” says the Lord. “Enlarge your house; build an addition. Spread out your home, and spare no expense! It’s Friday!!! 🎉 Back in school, Friday was the golden day of the week. We got to knock off early, and I’d be walking home like I just got released from prison. Then boom blink twice and the weekend was gone. I still don’t like Mondays. Mondays are bullies. These days, my big Friday joy is looking forward to church sneaking in some extra rest from blogging. I enjoy writing but I would be lying if I said I feel like writing everytime. Today? I don’t even feel 1% 😂 but discipline and consistency demand that l show up.

What does peace really feel like?

Is it the same as a long nap after a busy week? Not quite that’s rest. Peace is deeper. It’s tranquility. It’s actually a state of rest. The truth is, one of the things many people lack today is peace. They chase it, they wish for it, some even take medication just to taste a little of it. We hear of wars across nations, but it’s not just there, every other day, it’s guns, bombs, wars. Then there’s families, this cousin & that cousin are fighting. The uncle who always has something to say started an argument with the other family member. In churches, people in the same department are fighting. Everything seems to be in chaos.

God designed us to desire peace, to need it, to yearn for it. And because of that, the enemy has made it his mission to stir up trouble. He knows peace can be shaken and when it is, so much else crumbles. No wonder the Apostle Paul, in almost every one of his letters, either opened with “peace be unto you” or closed with it. He wasn’t being poetic he was showing us how vital peace is to our lives. So let me ask you: Did you have a peaceful week?

Sickness steals peace. Debt steals peace. The school fees that, if unpaid, could lead to them expelling your child also steals peace. Inflation, the struggling business with little profit, and the marriage weighed down by frustrations . Grief and loss can crumble mental health. Some people suffer chronic insomnia, not because of noise or caffeine, but simply because peace is missing. And then there are those who seem to have it all, the lavish lifestyle, the wealth, the applause yet no peace. Some have even gone into cults, gained what they desired, but lost peace. Some stumbled into sin just yesterday, and since then, peace has left. Can you see it? Different things sickness, sin, struggles, success even all try, in one way or another, to rob us of peace.

But Jesus looked at the world in this state and said, “My peace I give you.” There are two kinds of peace. There is the peace the world gives that says once you have money, status, or security then you will have peace. And then there is the peace Jesus gives, a deeper peace, unlike the world’s version, that quiets the soul, body, and mind. Christ says today: take it. You need it. I need it. He invites us to let go of the fragile “peace” the world offers and open our hands to embrace His. And His promise remains sure: “The peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus.”

That is what peace truly is. It is when Christ Himself stands guard over your heart. I pray you receive that peace today, dear child of God.

POG, I just realised there are still quite a number of women on our list that we haven’t covered. So next week, I’ll try to make the blogs a bit longer so we can go through as many as possible. After this series, I’d like us to study some men in Scripture, and then we’ll see where the Lord leads us next. Happy Friday! I hope you’ve had a beautiful day.

For those of us in South Africa , we’re almost springing into Spring, and I’m super excited! I was honestly so fed up with jackets and boots. The only downside? Soon I’ll be fed up with the heat too. Is there a place with perfect weather all year round? If so, I’ll pack my bags, relocate, and live happily ever after! I have a short message for us, I’m writing on the go, but I trust that it will help us.

What are you good at? Your skill, talent, or gift?

Identifying that isn’t always as hard as we make it seem. We all know what we’re not good at so it should be easier to identify what we are good at. Simply put, it’s usually the opposite of what you can’t do well 😂 We’re in August. That means we have four months left in the year. I want us to practically plan our growth.

For example, I’m good at writing. So, I ask myself: in what ways can I improve? What haven’t I done to expand in this craft? Maybe visit more bookstores, try ghostwriting for well-known people, invest in more advertising, or publish more books.

Here’s how I can plan, just a rough idea:

• Research the best-selling authors in my genre.
• Read their books and measure myself against them.
• Take action by fixing the mistakes from my first published work.
• Get more work out there.

I’m sharing this to give you an idea of how to scale up before December. Nobody rises by accident. Not by mistake. Rarely. Ever. Never. Some of you can bake. Some of you can cook. Here’s a tip ,specialise in one dish and sell it until you’ve built enough clients to roll out the rest of your menu. That being said, go do your homework. Reflecting on your life decisions is one of the most uncomfortable things you can do. It’s uncomfortable because it’s confrontational. It’s uncomfortable because it might push you to redo some things. It can feel like sitting for a question paper you hoped you’d never write, one filled with questions you either never studied for or studied and forgot.

I didn’t truly reflect on my life until my late 20s, after 25. I wish someone had told me about it sooner. I wish I had paused, on a Friday like this and asked myself: From Monday until today, what did I decide to do? How did I decide to do it? How did it affect me, and how will it affect my future? If you ask me, reflection should be a subject taught in schools, right from kindergarten. They call it the “naughty corner,” but maybe the better name is the “reflection corner.” A place where you stand still and consider your life. Pause. Look.Think.

Do you know we can cut down on regrets simply by reflecting sooner? If I’m in a toxic relationship and I pause to reflect realising, nah, this is actually toxic, I can leave before I waste the next five years and later regret the lost time.We studied about a woman called Ruth. We saw the decisions she made and how they shaped her life. We could examine our own lives and see how her choices can guide ours.

For example: Boaz was a man of integrity. That means while I’m waiting, integrity should be one of the main qualities I look for more than money. Yes, more than cash. And what about how Ruth went to the field as a newcomer in town? No procrastination. No hesitation. She was ready to fly, to soar, to act. So what is it about tomorrow that makes you say, I’ll do the assignment then? And what is it about today that makes you avoid the task now?

Is it the day? Or is it you?

So, what are we reflecting on today? The number of things we said we’d do today but pushed to tomorrow or never did at all. How can we change that now, so that by next Friday we’re not drowning in unfinished business? Look at the photo above.

Hello Yielded Family. If you’re in winter season please stay warm, I caught a flue that has been messing me up! Abeg, be warm! Today l want us to talk about dealing with disappointments, how to handle them & how to move on from them.

In this season of my life, my eyes have been opened to many things. I’ve come to realise that situations are revealing. They uncover your true strength, expose the nature of your surroundings and circle, and even test the depth of your faith and the condition of your heart.

There are lessons joy won’t teach you, lessons reserved for adversity. What I didn’t learn in times of peace, I was forced to learn in times of battle.I never truly understood how to handle disappointment until I faced it, repeatedly. Disappointment came through people I believed would stand by me no matter what. But in that, I learned, grew, and saw more clearly. I saw my heart.

I saw how it beat on a frequency that didn’t match the rhythm of certain people around me. I saw how hands that once offered warmth and words of love quietly held hidden knives disguised in smiles, cloaked in familiarity. I saw the unfairness… how you can pour out your all, give your 100; while someone else offers only 10, and walks away feeling justified, even blind to the imbalance.I saw how progress, opportunities even love sometimes flow by the currency of favour, not faithfulness. It broke my heart. And then came the question: Now that I’ve seen all this how do I deal with the weight of disappointment?

If you voice it, they’ll call you petty. If you speak on it, some will say you’re carrying offence. When really, it’s just the sting of disappointment… Because you never saw it coming.You just didn’t expect them to be the ones. But It happens everywhere, In marriages. In friendships. In the workplace. I remember one colleague of mine who was smiling and laughing with me all day only to report me to the manager that I don’t do my work properly & l lost my job that very day because he was trusted and l faced many months of struggle. How do you deal with that? Because every time theres no food in my fridge l remember him, laughing then backstabbing me.

People distance themselves from family not out of hate, but because someone used a lunch break to casually tear their name apart on long phone calls. Some hearts shut down not out of bitterness, but from the realisation: “I never had a place in theirs.”And family… here’s the hard part: How do you deal with it? How do you breathe through the moment when the same hand that hugged you Turns around and hands your enemy the gun whispering, “Shoot him. He’s unarmed.”

And the answer? It’s unexpected. Forgiveness. Yep, you heard me right. Forgiveness. It shatters pride and invites humility. It softens the heart and opens the door to healing. When you truly forgive, you stop demanding explanations. You stop rehearsing the pain.You’re no longer holding grudges or carrying silent offence. Instead, you find yourself in a place of surrender. A place where God becomes the One who heals and restores. Where peace replaces confusion, and grace flows freely.

So, surrender that disappointment to God. Give it up. Release it. Let Him hold what’s too heavy for you. I have so much more to say, but we’ll continue tomorrow. Keep moving forward. Keep shining. Keep winning.
