My new favourite day of the week apart from Sunday is Friday. I get to rest from books and reports and just give my full attention to more prayer, to myself , to reflect on my week and my decisions. With my personal life, serving in church, leading the prayer group, I often have no time to figure out how I truly feel, how I am, every moment has its allocated to-do. If I’m not doing this, I’m doing that. It’s tiring and sometimes all l need is someone to check up on me. This has been such a difficult week for me because even my health was attacked , spiritual attacks, felt low in some moments, just a whole lot of drama and I know that the devil was attention seeking. Thankful to Abba and for my sister Valerie who helped me go through the week. I don’t think she knew how much I needed to laugh like that . I’m so grateful for her . God sent one beautiful young lady to also check up on me a few days ago, she said , “I felt the urge to ask you how you are”, yho bazalwane there’s no way God is not mindful of me.

You learn more from endings than from beginnings. Endings carry a track record of every moment, every decision, every memory, and that’s why in order to reflect effectively we wait for the end of the week. Answer these questions;

I read a comment recently, someone said “ Is it normal to miss sadness or pain when it’s gone?!” The truth is no . You should not miss pain. You only do if you have not replaced that with joy. Once you have the joy of the Lord there’s nothing that feels better. Many of us refuse to take in the joy of the Lord because we are addicted to pain. Ironically Your lowest moments are your happiest moments because at least then you can feel something . It’s paradoxish and it is not a good thing. Answer me truthfully, how are you? Are you pretending to be okay? Are you tired and worn out? Are you peaceful? Happy? I always ask this when I see people because I’ve realised people carry a lot and sometimes need one person to ask , to check up, to love on them. Respond by commenting;

Hey family. I just want to start by reminding you that God loves you. It’s easy to doubt this because the first thing that we question when we go through life’s ups and downs is God’s love for us. The devil whispers lies to us and we find ourselves asking Jesus like the disciples , “Lord carest thou not that we perish?” I have doubted God’s love for me many times and had to intentionally listen to sermons that would drill that truth in my head and tattoo it on my heart to keep me rooted. God loves you!

When l think back into my life, l remember going through depression, applying for jobs every day only to be rejected , I remember crying so much because the person l thought would marry me changed lanes, I remember looking at the last meal in the house and asking myself where will the next one come from . There were times when I’d use my last money to show up and serve in church, to give to someone else, eh! Moments of loneliness , seasons of feeling defeated, many years of stagnation and suffering. I remember when l used to compromise my walk with God, fornicating, drinking, prostituting myself with the gods of this world, boy did l not live a riotous life!!! All this and more has led me to one conclusion ; man is nothing without God. Try living life without God? You’re already in your grave. I’m sharing this with you because of the video you’re about to watch.

Yesterday l watched a live stream by one of my good friends, Life-changing!! There’s such an urgency in the spirit this particular season. You know Thursday we chill with popcorn and watch some good Christian movies but today I’m not sure if the popcorn will be needed. Just take water 😂. If you’re on Mpg don’t even try popping anything my friend, FOCUS! This message will change your life. It will give you the answers to the many questions you ask. DELIVERANCE THROUGH PRAYER

Prayer changes you. Prayer changes things. Prayer is the believer’s advantage. Prayer is FOR the believer. Prayer is a tool which means it is an instrument or equipment used to repair something. Prayer is not a word competition, it is not a joke. The life of a believer must be a life of prayer . Any believer who rejects this way of living Is irresponsible, reckless and can’t be trusted with serious kingdom mandates.

5 years ago l found myself so hungry for prayer. I prayed a lot! I prayed upon every impulse of Holy Spirit. It became my life. That time I would always create prayer groups for one week in every month where people join and pray. It so happened that l began to seek God for my purpose. Prayer helps you to find out why you were born! Purpose is found in prayer. When God revealed to me why, the devil attacked me so much that I couldn’t sleep, I would stay up all day, I’m talking the entire 24hrs because the enemy was sifting me like wheat! It was by prayer that I came out! Prayer is your key to deliverance.

”And the Lord said, Simon, Simon, behold, Satan hath desired to have you, that he may sift you as wheat: but I have prayed for thee, that thy faith fail not: and when thou art converted, strengthen thy brethren.“

THE HOLY BIBLE

Jesus is speaking to Peter, He says, “There is something the devil has planned for you! There is a disaster, a calamity, trouble, pain, heartache and headache that the devil has mapped out for you! He has a desire to do something to you! He wishes to harass you! He is looking at you with an evil eye! Simon something is going on in the realm of the spirit concerning you and it is not looking good! He is saying to him, there is a devil who has prepared to shoot at you, Satan is out to steal, kill and destroy, so Simon this is not a laughing matter! I love Jesus! He is already ahead of the situation. He doesn’t say I will pray for you! He says I’ve already done it because family, you don’t wait for calamity to pray, you pray at all times! Jesus says to Peter, what I have seen is not an issue of your skills in fishing, your handsomeness, your money, all that cannot stop the devil, I have done something that will deliver you , I have prayed for you! Kai!!

Prayer is a deliverance method. When the enemy decides to lay his hand on you, you arise and begin to travail, you charge against him and break off the yoke otherwise you will be sifted as wheat! If we understood the power of prayer, many of us would not be battling the things we are battling. We are kept in bondage because we think “what’s meant to happen will happen. What’s for me will come to me!” A lie from the pit of hell. You need to wake up and smell the coffee, life is not that simple, life is spiritual and until you get this understanding you will wait for many years for something you should’ve received a long time ago. Anytime to reject prayer, you give permission to the devil to sift you as wheat, to have you, to molest and abuse you that is why he will do anything to stop you from praying! Simon, Simon, this is not the enemy you fight with fists, kungfu, marshal arts or John Cena’s WWE tricks. This one is fought through prayer! He says BUT I HAVE PRAYED FOR YOU! Don’t wait for trouble to arise to pray. Pray at all times! Let the enemy find you praying! In Jesus Name you will not be sifted like wheat!!

I pray that after today you use this weapon given to you effectively and effectively. I hope you know Simon that Satan may desire to have you but you can decide whether he can truly do so.

This week can we focus on prayer and fasting. I feel that we are in one of the most significant years/times ever. This is the year where many people will either be sifted like wheat ;

”And the Lord said, Simon, Simon, behold, Satan hath desired to have you, that he may sift you as wheat:“
‭‭Luke‬ ‭22‬:‭31‬ ‭KJV‬‬

or walk in the fullness of God’s favour and mercy.

”You crown the year with your bounty, and your carts overflow with abundance.“
‭‭Psalms‬ ‭65‬:‭11‬ ‭NIV‬‬

It is a critical time for the church. The urgency in the spirit is that we all take our positions of intercession. This has nothing to do with a particular group of people called “intercessors” this is an alarm sounding to all who believe in The Lord Jesus Christ. This means that we should all be praying. Away with pulling blankets and slumbering. The devil is out sowing snares, traps , weeds on our paths. Destinies are being swapped while we are sound asleep after dishing out our prayer requests to “prayer warriors” .

The bible speaks about two prostitutes in the book of 1Kings 3

”“During the night this woman’s son died because she lay on him. So she got up in the middle of the night and took my son from my side while I your servant was asleep. She put him by her breast and put her dead son by my breast.“
‭‭1 Kings‬ ‭3‬:‭19‬-‭20‬ ‭NIV‬‬

After her child died, she woke up and took someone’s child! This is what the devil does while we take it easy. There’s no time for cute! There’s no time for procrastination or postponement! This is the time to arise otherwise you will wake up one morning and realise, what you gave birth to, has been stolen. We do not have the luxury of folding hands! Man ought always to pray!
