“On your feet now—applaud God! Bring a gift of laughter, sing yourselves into his presence.”
Psalms 100:1-2 MSG
One of the reasons why we engage in worship is to build intimacy and fellowship with God. In worship we are given an opportunity to see God, to be in His very presence, like Moses, to commune with Him. Many believers know how to pray, we are prayer warriors but in worship we stand like statues, clueless as to what to do. We need some more koinonia. We need some more encounters. We need more and more is available if we are willing to avail ourselves to engage and receive. You don’t need a dance coach or a worship coach, all you need to do is to yield .. and you know what?
Become childlike . Maybe you’re too grown in the presence of God that you can’t kneel anymore. Too shy to lift up your hands or too lazy to clap.
“Know this: God is God, and God, God. He made us; we didn’t make him. We’re his people, his well-tended sheep. Enter with the password: “Thank you!” Make yourselves at home, talking praise. Thank him. Worship him.”
Psalms 100:3-4 MSG
