Happy Monday, my Yielded People! 💕
Last week, we spoke about occupying on time. Update: that very day, I rushed to the washing line, and today, there are curtains on the windows. I made sure what happened didn’t repeat itself. People of God, that is what we must always do , learn from our mistakes and correct what we can immediately.
Do you know how many blogs you’ve reacted to here but haven’t corrected the mistakes in your own life? It’s still very much part of your reality. Why? Because we are quick to make mistakes but slow to correct them. Occupying on time is not just about starting; it’s about acting without delay. Think about this: you meet a beautiful young lady, someone with all the qualities you want in a partner, but you hesitate , counting stars, pondering, waiting and another brother marries her. That’s an issue of not occupying on time.
“Look carefully then how you walk! Live purposefully and worthily and accurately, not as the unwise and witless, but as wise (sensible, intelligent people), Making the very most of the time [buying up each opportunity], because the days are evil. Ephesians 5:15-16 AMPC
It says intelligent & sensible people make most of the time. You get a business idea, God nudges you, but you delay , counting sand, planning later. Next thing, someone you know executes the same idea. I wrote a book, The Heart Condition, but I was busy counting sheep. I saw someone else publish a book with the same title even the cover resembled my vision. What happened? I did not occupy on time. What I’m trying to say is simple: if you won’t, someone else will. If you are lazy, someone else is diligent. The one who is time-conscious will possess the land.
Some people don’t care about when they occupy, they only care about occupying. When? They haven’t thought about it. A vision board full of amazing things is meaningless without timing. Planning to occupy “someday” is not wisdom. Many goals remain unfulfilled because they were never timed. We attempt to occupy at the last minute, in November, when panic sets in because a new year is coming.
I’m speaking from experience , laziness is a habit that invites a spirit, and no lazy person can occupy on time. Forget it. Time-consciousness is key. The Master says, “Occupy until I come.” When is He coming? You do not know. That’s why timing matters. Buy oil on time, or you will miss the bridegroom. The foolish virgins were late because they postponed preparation. They waited for later, and the door shut. The door can shut before you occupy because you decide to postpone, start with unimportant things, drag your feet, or think you’ll do it later. Let me give you free advice or pressure , your choice, people are busy putting their lives together. Put yours together so that you don’t roll on the floor in December when the door of 2026 shuts.
Some things planned for June can be done in January, but we postpone because we love comfort, hate pressure, and hate accountability. Oh my wows people have asked me to “mentor” them and I’m like “My dear just leave me o.” Cos people hate accountability. We hate the discomfort of facing the issue now. We hate the pressure. We hate answering the questions of why it can’t be done now. We love it when we can say, “By October.”
The five wise virgins got extra oil on time. They were ready. The Bible calls them wise. When you are not time-conscious, the opposite is true. Arrive late, even if you look perfect, and the front seats are gone. Sometimes the entire room is packed with people who woke up ready to occupy that seat on time. Occupy on time. Start on time. Enquire on time. Study on time. Approach her on time, Get the oil on time. Plan and prepare on time. Wake up on time. Put the project and presentation together on time. Learn to do things on time.
The washing line is filling up with those serious about their clothes drying. Nobody is coming to beg you to hang your curtains. Hang them at 2pm if you like, the issue is, you are not the only one with wet clothes. Keep tabs on yourself. You don’t know what winds will come tomorrow. Today, when the sun is out, hang your curtains , on time. At the end of every month I will ask, why did you not occupy.
Now, if you read my blogs but have never met this Wonderful Jesus that I’m always writing about, you’d love to get to know Him, Or you know The Lord but have found yourself drifting far from Him, I would love to talk with you. Please send me an email on yieldedcwcenter@gmail.com or simply comment, and I will reach out to you.
I love yous.
