Hello God’s people! Smile for two seconds. Yeah some of you don’t smile like EVER. So today let’s talk about favour. There are things that I’ve seen happening in people’s lives that could not have happened had it not been for favour. Some doors don’t open because of qualifications, money, or connections they open because of favour.We have prayed the prayer for favour. We have declared it. Some have even fasted for it. Yet Scripture gives us a deeper understanding of how favour truly works. The Bible says:
“And Jesus increased in wisdom and stature, and in favour with God and man.” Luke 2:52
Notice this carefully favour was not only with God, but also with man. Many people think they only need favour from God. You often hear statements like, “I don’t care about people as long as God loves me.” That sounds spiritual, as if you have strict boundaries but it is actually very foolish. Because when you read Scripture, you discover that God works through people. In Exodus, God speaks to Moses and says:
“I have surely seen the oppression of My people who are in Egypt, and have heard their cry… for I know their sorrows. So I have come down to deliver them.” Exodus 3:7–8
When you read that, you think, “Wow! God Himself is coming down.” But as you keep reading, the Lord then says:
“Come now therefore, and I will send you to Pharaoh, that you may bring My people… out of Egypt.” Exodus 3:10
Like… Looooord? You said You were coming down , why is Moses now being sent? Because God sends men to help men. That’s how God comes down. God’s answers often come wrapped in people.God’s miracles often arrive through human vessels.God’s provision often flows through relationships. This has been the case for me many many times. So when someone hates everyone, isolates themselves, and lives in their own little world that world remains little because it has no people in it. And if every prayer God answers comes through people, then rejecting people is cancelling your own prayers. You become the limitation.
Favour is not one-sided. It is not only vertical , it is also horizontal. True favour is , Favour with God and favour with man. That is another way we occupy, how doors open and how destinies move forward. We need favour my people! There are places you must occupy, but favour will be the key that opens the door. Some doors are not forced open by effort they respond only to favour. So then the question is: what is favour? Favour is divine ADVANTAGE. It is when God causes you to receive help, access, acceptance, and opportunities you did not qualify for naturally.
Favour is when your name is mentioned in rooms you’ve never entered. Favour is when you are remembered even when you didn’t remind anyone. Favour is when God places you on the heart of people without you asking. Favour has nothing to do with certificates or hips or good English. That is why a man without favour must labour for everything. The Bible says:
“Unless the Lord builds the house, they labour in vain who build it.” Psalm 127:1
When favour is absent, everything becomes hard. You push, struggle, beg, explain, and prove yourself endlessly. But when favour is present, help looks for you. Ah May help look for us this 2026. I’ve had moments where people came to me and said, “God said I should give you this. God said I must help you. Here is an opportunity. I’d like to assist you with ABC.”No application. No campaigning. No manipulation. No stories. No pressure. Sometimes no prayer. Just favour.
Some people have left their doors open for me , access anytime. Not appointment-based. Not protocol-heavy. That is not normal. People are too busy to be bothering themselves about you. Everyone has their own life, their own pressure, their own responsibilities. But favour interrupts their schedule and brings you into the picture.Favour causes people to pause and say, “I don’t know why, but I just feel led to help you.”
That is not just charisma. Actually, favour is not even beauty. That one fades. It is not personality. It is God touching human hearts on your behalf. He stirs the hearts of men on earth. And that is how we occupy. I know you are waiting for me to talk about Sister Esther. Esther became a queen in the place of Vashti. She was an orphan. She was a Jew , a captive people. She had no status, no surname power, no background advantage.
She didn’t seduce the king. She didn’t stalk his page. She didn’t wear short dresses to catch his eye. She didn’t position herself emotionally or manipulate access. She was simply presented before the king and he chose her. Do you know how many girls were there? The Bible says many young virgins were chosen. Do you know how beautiful those girls were? Ehh! Beauty that makes you cry 😂 They were all prepared the same way. Same perfumes. Same oils. Same process.
You think beauty was the reason?
If beauty was enough, many beautiful women would not be crying for marriage today. Those ladies had serious skin treatments. You think you have a skincare routine? You even skip it 5 days 😂. They were soaked in oils for months. Yet when they stood before the king, he looked away from some. He’s like nah. You are not HER!
There is a HER and a HIM people of God.
That means it is possible for your king or your queen to look away, not because you are ugly, not because you are not qualified, but because favour was missing. Then Favour is easy to trace. You can tell if you do have it or not. How many doors have opened for you without begging, chasing, or explaining yourself? If the answer is zero, you need to pray for favour. Esther did not stand before the king and start saying, “Please my lord, I’m an orphan.”(No offense to those who lost their parents.) I need to make point across.
She didn’t say, “I live with my uncle. I I don’t even have a house.” No emotional stories. Favour that requires you to labour is not favour. If you have to beg for it , it’s not favour. If you have to compromise for it , it’s not favour. If you have to drop your standards to get it , it is not favour. If you have to lie and use muti it’s not favour. It’s witchcraft. If you have to remove your underwear to access the throne, don’t come and tell us you occupied through favour. Favour is not compromise. Favour is very simple. You show up and you are rewarded.
The Bible says:
“Esther obtained favour in the sight of all who saw her.” Esther 2:15
Everyone! Not some. Not most. ALL! That one is favour pro max. I neeeeeed it RIGHT NOOOOW! To walk into rooms and people like you without knowing you that is the favour I want. Because of favour, Esther moved from a two bedroom home I would suppose, to a palace, from obscurity to royalty, from survival to elevation. You need favour to occupy. Stop saying you will do it all by yourself. You tried last year. Try something new this year. Pray for favour today. Remember favour can even come from unbelievers. May you step into rooms and places, into palaces, into deals and roads of convenience through favour! Wellllllllllll, may you marry through favour!
