Praise Wednesday

Hey, l love you!

Soooo umhhh story time;

I’m quite a bubbly person , if you’ve met me personally you’ll catch that it’s actually rare to meet me looking all sad and whatnot. I will probably be laughing or talking. It happened that one day I was really really angry! I mean fire for fire! I was ready for tooth for tooth. I’m physically small, I think my age confuses a lot of people because I am not as big as my age (oh my Lord can l be 18 again) .. Regardless of the fact that I look small , I can fight. I’m not even joking! So that day, I was ready to wrestle against flesh and blood 😂 but as I was boiling within I started to cry. Oh that’s when I’m sure I’m upset , I cry . And I knelt . And I said Lord please don’t let the devil take me back to the angry girl l used to be. I put a praise sing and danced out the anger. Listen, praise is powerful! The time when you feel you want to explode, dance it out!!! When you feel upset, hurt and your emotions are all over the place, dance! It’s amazing how it works on your inner man and before you know it, your mind is sober , your heart is in the right place and the devil is put to shame. Just dance!! Play a praise song and move it-move it! They say David even did break dance ! Eh!! You dunno anything! You better dance!

”Wearing a linen ephod, David was dancing before the Lord with all his might, while he and all Israel were bringing up the ark of the Lord with shouts and the sound of trumpets.“
‭‭2 Samuel‬ ‭6‬:‭14‬-‭15‬ ‭NIV‬‬

Of course I have a praise plug for you!! Click below ;

Where is the boy?

I have been meditating on Hannah’s prayer for a while now. The bible says she poured her heart out to God, this means, our prayers should always be from the heart. Many people pray in tongues but their hearts are not connected to the prayer. Hannah was not playing church. She wasn’t playing games. She was not pretending to pray! It wasn’t for the title “prayer warrior” no! She was in the right posture, pouring her heart to the Lord. I highly recommend that you go through the whole story from 1Samuel chapter 1.

At this point Hannah was fed up of carrying a burden that taunted her day and night. Tired of Peninah’s mockery; the trips to Shiloh – coming back empty handed. Listen, a Christian life with no results is frustrating. I have lived it before but that was the last of it! Like Esau l became restless and decided to travail and break the yoke! At some point you need to make a decision that you will not let Him go until Jacob becomes Israel, until Samuel is conceived, until the yoke is broken! These lies we have believed that “it will happen if it’s meant to be” will leave us empty and angry at God!! Hannah, pour your heart out to the Lord! Why sit there until you die? Why endure when you can enjoy? Your womb can carry a child – do not let the enemy make you think otherwise!

Hannah begins to travail. (I almost typed in tongues!) Kai! She enters into the groanings which I believe were a dimension of the Holy Spirit interceding for us. Her prayer was verbal , it seemed like she was introducing us to the work of the Holy Spirit in the New Testament, groanings that cannot be uttered in words

”In the same way, the Spirit helps us in our weakness. We do not know what we ought to pray for, but the Spirit himself intercedes for us through wordless groans. And he who searches our hearts knows the mind of the Spirit, because the Spirit intercedes for God’s people in accordance with the will of God.“
‭‭Romans‬ ‭8‬:‭26‬-‭27‬ ‭NIV‬‬

Something stood out for me in the way she prayed. l”And she made a vow, saying, “Lord Almighty, if you will only look on your servant’s misery and remember me, and not forget your servant but give her a son, then I will give him to the Lord for all the days of his life, and no razor will ever be used on his head.”“
‭‭1 Samuel‬ ‭1‬:‭11‬ ‭NIV‬‬

This is our topic today. The vows you made when you needed a breakthrough! “Oh Lord give me the job I will be a kingdom financier!” Or “Lord give me a husband, I will serve you all my life!” .. really? This one that we complain about paying tithe? We forget about serving in the house of God once we have the marriages? Where is the Samuel you promised to bring back to the temple? Where is the boy? Have we forgotten how we poured our hearts to God when we really needed divine intervention? Moses warns Israel in the book of Exodus , he says do not forget the Lord your God when you have entered this land of milk and honey. Oh because it is very easy to forget! How many people have forgotten you after all the help you’ve given them? It’s easy to forget once you see the milk and honey you’ve longed for!! Once the fees is paid, the job comes, the business is booming, will you take Samuel to the temple as promised? Some people have never tithed since they started working, a job that came by the hand of the Lord, all they say is “I’ve got bills!” My darling, you’re a thief! “I’m too busy to serve!” That is foolishness.

I just came to remind you, Samuel belongs to the temple. In closing,

When you make a vow to God, do not delay to fulfill it. He has no pleasure in fools; fulfill your vow. It is better not to make a vow than to make one and not fulfill it. Do not let your mouth lead you into sin. And do not protest to the temple messenger, “My vow was a mistake.” Why should God be angry at what you say and destroy the work of your hands? Much dreaming and many words are meaningless. Therefore fear God.“
‭‭Ecclesiastes‬ ‭5‬:‭4‬-‭7‬ ‭NIV‬‬

So what did Hannah do? She didn’t cheat her way out of the vow like we do;

”I prayed for this child, and the Lord has granted me what I asked of him. So now I give him to the Lord. For his whole life he will be given over to the Lord.” And he worshiped the Lord there.“
‭‭1 Samuel‬ ‭1‬:‭27‬-‭28‬ ‭NIV‬‬

Dear Hannah, where is the boy?

Chilled Thursday

Got some life changing stuff for us to watch together!! Many of us are struggling to discover purpose and those who have, are struggling to find a way forward. The reason is that, the believer is either lazy or ignorant. Ignorance is an advantage of the devil which makes it our disadvantage as believers. What you do not know has the power to only destroy you but to also kill you. Life does not forgive you for not knowing. Life does not take it easy on you because you did not go to school, you had no idea, you were unaware, no! I’ve learned so far, getting knowledge is what makes us unlock our full potential, anything else trains us to normalise mediocrity.

”My child, will you treasure my wisdom? Then, and only then, will you acquire it. And only if you accept my advice and hide it within will you succeed. So train your heart to listen when I speak and open your spirit wide to expand your discernment— then pass it on to your sons and daughters. Yes, cry out for comprehension and intercede for insight. For if you keep seeking it like a man would seek for sterling silver, searching in hidden places for cherished treasure, then you will discover the fear of the Lord and find the true knowledge of God.“
‭‭Proverbs‬ ‭2‬:‭1‬-‭5‬ ‭TPT‬‬

Worship Wednesday!

Hey family. Please go through this passage of scripture. Interestingly, a man and his family were saved because of someone’s worship! Men were freed from prison because they worshipped.God dwells in praises, in worship, it is His domain, His Zone, His address! I’ve shared my testimony on how worship changed my life! My relationship with God started and was strengthened by and through worship. Let’s read this passage; May God give you understanding! God bless you.

”So the jailer placed them in the innermost cell of the prison and had their feet bound and chained. Paul and Silas, undaunted, prayed in the middle of the night and sang songs of praise to God, while all the other prisoners listened to their worship. Suddenly, a great earthquake shook the foundations of the prison. All at once every prison door flung open and the chains of all the prisoners came loose. Startled, the jailer awoke and saw every cell door standing open. Assuming that all the prisoners had escaped, he drew his sword and was about to kill himself when Paul shouted in the darkness, “Stop! Don’t hurt yourself. We’re all still here.” The jailer called for a light. When he saw that they were still in their cells, he rushed in and fell trembling at their feet. Then he led Paul and Silas outside and asked, “What must I do to be saved?” They answered, “Believe in the Lord Jesus and you will be saved—you and all your family.” Then they prophesied the word of the Lord over him and all his family. Even though the hour was late, he washed their wounds. Then he and all his family were baptized. He took Paul and Silas into his home and set them at his table and fed them. The jailer and all his family were filled with joy in their newfound faith in God. At daybreak, the magistrates sent officers to the prison with orders to tell the jailer, “Let those two men go.” The jailer informed Paul and Silas, “The magistrates have sent orders to release you. So you’re free to go now.”“
‭‭Acts‬ ‭16‬:‭24‬-‭36‬ ‭TPT‬‬

Go ahead and worship Him! You will surely testify!
