What occupying daily looks like

Some things have nothing to do with money and everything to do with your mindset.

It’s Worship Wednesday! How do you say hello, how are you in your language? We say, Sabona unjani (in Ndebele) or Mhoro, wakadii or makadii (in Shona). A fun fact is that although I cannot fluently speak seSotho , seTswana, isiXhosa, Swati, I can hear everything. I may not get the slangs or very deep words but best believe we can hold a conversation where I obviously answer in English 😂. As for Afrikaans? Who am l if even some of the people of the land cannot speak it? Who l be?

I understand 10% of Korean language because of the series’ I watch. Infact, saranghae. Thennn
ChiVenda is Shona’s fraternal twin so I get her. Not 100% but a good 50-60% so I’m in the loop. What else? Oh l speak English too. While some people have an attitude towards it and say they won’t learn it, it’s a colonial language, l think that’s silly. It’s the most spoken universal language that someone who’s not from your country can understand. Learn it. Then hehe I speak in tongues! Elabashantaaaaaaa! Holy Ghost utterance na my daily language. This one l don’t understand it o but I speak it! What languages do you or can you speak? Chinese?

Today I want us to talk about ways to occupy daily. When you think of occupying daily, what does that look like for you? Is it going to work daily? Showing up for your business daily? Praying daily? Etcetera. Actually, consistent people will never fail at anything. Your first issue could be a lack of consistency, where you do one task for 18 days, something you could’ve done in two hours and you take weeeeeeks. Why? Lack of diligence and consistency. The first step to occupying daily is consistency. Since Monday until today, there has been a blog for you to read.

God is consistent. He opened your eyes today; He brought out the sun. Imagine if He were as inconsistent as some of us? Today you can walk; tomorrow He forgets to give you sight. The next day He forgets to give you a heartbeat, so you are alive today and dead tomorrow. That’s how our lives are with all the inconsistency going on. Today you are in business; by 7am tomorrow you are in something else. By the weekend, you’ve done 15 things and gotten no results. A jack of all trades, master of none. Consistency will help you to occupy daily. Show up daily.

Occupying daily looks like diligence. It looks like finding tasks you can do that fill up your day and stop you from idleness. So you update your CV, sit and think of ways to improve your business, get a book and read, pray daily, follow a Bible plan, and go out to do what God told you to do. It also looks like showing up daily for tasks without excuses, except in cases of sickness or emergency. “I couldn’t even read one line; I was sooo lazy.” We all get lazy, no lie but 20 days of laziness is a spiritual thing. A spirit is helping you, and I’m not joking. A spirit has come to be lazy with you. The spirit of laziness is not lazy to make you lazy, you get the irony? You can’t be lazy all month because, believe it or not, spirits are attracted to consistency. So your inconsistency in diligence has made your life attractive for a spirit to come and enable you even further.

What does it look like to occupy daily? Like living a holy life daily. We don’t argue with scripture. We don’t use opinions over scripture. We don’t look for other “truths”, there is only One truth and it is Jesus Christ. We don’t look for ways to occupy in unrighteous means. Being a Christian DAILY. Not on Sundays only where you bow and look like Angel Christiana. Daily. A child of God , daily. Everyday we are the light of the world and the salt of the earth. Not that at midnight you are with mpg and in the morning you are in questionable places, doing questionable things with questionable people.

It looks like going for your goals daily. Oh, so nobody has bought from you? It’s okay, keep posting. Occupy that status with your business. Occupy that status with your products. Occupy that status with Scripture; let someone know about Christ. Occupy social media. Advertise your skills. Occupy your world! Nobody has hired you yet? There are more companies, keep applying. If you saw how many emails I send daily, you would buy me ice cream to cool off. I don’t play. I bang on doors. What is knocking? I bang until the person inside is fed up with the noise and opens up for me to occupy my space. Daily, people of God, daily. Not that today I’m serious and tomorrow I’m not so sure. Wishful thinking makes you believe that by December you’ll have occupied by doing nothing about your goals. It will remain a wish. I’m telling you for freeeeee. At no charge. No Ts & Cs applied.

What can you do today to help your own destiny? Today, not tomorrow. Which book of the Bible will you start studying? What plans do you have for the day? “I don’t have money.” I will really come to your house. This has nothing to do with money and everything to do with mindset.There are maaaaany things you can do today. Take short courses online. Get certified in three hours. Yes, short accredited courses, that’s what I did. I am still doing it now. I gather them . Now I can enter some rooms because of those courses I completed when it felt like there was “nothing” to do.

You can’t have nothing to do. You cannot. Pray. Gather information. Watch tutorials. But to think that by December you will have become an Esther when you didn’t even learn how to fast? Do you think Esther learned that fast in the palace? You learn these things the same way you learn Math. Be doing something, please. Be doing something, and do it daily and do it consistently.
